The well-being of my patients is always my top priority. My many years of clinical experience in major national and international centres, as well as extensive research in nephrology and infectious diseases, allows me to offer you, the patient, a wealth of beneficial knowledge. I do this with deep empathy, insight and an attentive ear for the details. Nephrology is detective work, getting to the root of the disease. Our team will take excellent care of you.

My motivation throughout my many years as a nephrologist and internist has been to view patients holistically, with consideration for all physical, psychological and social aspects of their lives.

I seek to gather as many puzzle pieces as possible, complete the picture, and present the conclusions to the patient in an understandable way.

Patient needs and well-being should be the focus, ensuring they are well informed and involved in the decision-making process concerning treatment.

Joining the Nephro am See team completes the circle for my career as a doctor as I have always strived to put patients and their families first, and at the centre of my work.
 
I have been very fortunate in my career to have worked internationally treating kidney patients on an outpatient and inpatient basis, as well as teaching students and young doctors, and conducting research in laboratories, practices and hospitals.  
 
My focus was always on the kidneys: first as a doctor during my national civic service on the dialysis ward, then in the intensive care unit, and later caring for transplant recipients, kidney patients and donors – always people ... with their own individual stories.
 
I am delighted to be able to continue collaborating with, and learning from, my fellow dedicated professionals.

I am very much looking forward to working with the competent team at Nephro am See, as their focus is also always on the patient.
For me, too, the needs and well-being of patients come first, both clinically, as well as in research and teaching.

The guiding principle of my work is the nephrological, internal medical and psychological well-being of patients, particularly in the precise diagnosis and specific treatment of kidney diseases.

I have acquired the necessary skills through many years of work at a university hospitals, at a global healthcare provider, and through my nephrological research and teaching.

I am very pleased to be at your side as a member of a highly committed team!

My motivation is to make quality management easier to understand so everyone involved can follow easily and apply it in their daily work.

As an external QM officer, I'm excited to be working with the team at Paramecium AG - to build a practical quality management system that boosts patient safety, improves customer satisfaction, and makes daily work easier for everyone.
